Tauernlodge Sonnblick Top3 is a cozy and family friendly appartment, set in a newly rebuild small appartment building. Here you can enjoy the fresh mountian air, beautifull sights, a welcome rest and Austrian hospitality. You'll find plenty of sightseeing spots, beautiful hikes and kilometres of vast slopes in the nearby area of Mülbach am Hochkönig. Free use off a small in house public sauna is included. The ski area of Mühlbach is part of Ski Amadé. With 270 lifts and 760 slopekilometers is is the largest ski area of Austria. With 1 skipass you can enjoy this beautiful area which includes also the areas of Gasteinertal, Salzburgersportwelt, Grossarltal and Schladming-Dachstein. Come and enjoy the "Kingstour", a skiing tour between the villages of Mühlbach, Dienten and Maria Alm with a length of 35 km, 7500 mtrs of Height difference and stunning panoramic views at the Hochkönig mountain and the Steinerne lake. During the period mid May-mid October our guests benefit from the Hochkönig Card, which is included in the booking. This card gives many benefits, including free use of cable cars, bus and public swimming pools in the area.
Our on site host Mrs. Snejana Mörschbacher will welcome you after you've arrived. She'll provide you with all the necessary and usefull details, such as a bread delivery service, actual busplan, restaurant and shop info, etc. She knows the area very well and is happy to help you when required.
In the immediate vicinity of Mühlbach, you can enjoy the beautiful mountain massifs of the Hochkönig and the Mandlwand. You'll find many beautiful forrests to walk, hike or mountainbike with clear mountain lakes and many typical Austrian Alpine huts. For children, beautiful natural play areas can be found along the many hiking trails, making hiking never boring! Next to hiking, you can do fine tobogganing. Or visit one of the many deep and stunning gorges, such as the Liechtenstein gorge in Sankt Johann im Pongau. And in bad weather, a visit to the Alpine Thermal Spa in Altenmarkt is a good alternative.
