To travel from our Apartment to the city center use the U1 subway line and follow these steps: Walk about 5-7 minutes to the Kagraner Platz Metro Station (you can also take a bus 22A, 24A or the tram 26 and drive one station) Purchase a valid ticket or use your Vienna public transport pass. Board a U1 train heading in the direction of "Alaudagasse" or "Oberlaa." The trains are marked with the red U1 line and are usually quite frequent (every 3 minutes), so you shouldn't have to wait long. The U1 line passes through several important stations, including Kagran (shopping center), Alte Donau, Donauinsel and Praterstern. Continue on the U1 line until you reach "Stephansplatz" station. This is a central station in the heart of Vienna's city center. Disembark at Stephansplatz to access Vienna's iconic attractions, such as St. Stephen's Cathedral, Graben shopping street, and many historical sites. The entire journey should take approximately 20-25 minutes, making it a convenient way to reach the city center from Breitenleer Straße 9 using the U1 subway line.
