Flat is located in the city centre of Saalfelden - the heart of various ski resorts in Salzburg and Tirol region. Near ski resorts: Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang, Hochkönig, Zell am See (Schmitten), Loferer Alm, Kitzbühel, Kitzsteinhorn and in 5km distance Hinterreit where the Austrian Sports Club (ÖSV) has its FIS training slope. There you might meet a ski super star. The old townhaus is one of the few remaining houses in the Pinzgau style within the city and was recently renovated.
We live near Vienna, studied in Graz and Salzburg, have 3 children, lived in six different countries and travelled into more than 40 countries. We returned back to Austria in 2006 and made it to our hobby to renovate old houses in interesting locations, which we partially offer to tourists.
Flat is located in the city centre of Saalfelden. Many different bars, restaurants and shops are within 3 minutes walking distance. Each saturday one of the most famous organic farmers of this region offers its products just across the entrance. A bakery that offers 6 days a week fresh Austrian Semmel and bred in a 2min walking distance. The InterSpar is in 7min walking distance. Free shuttlebus to access - Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski resort via Leogang. - Hochkönig via Aberg - Hinterreit - Schantailift Leogang Post Bus (Nr. 690) starts at Saalfelden Bus station (5 - 10min (with ski shoes) walking distance) and can be used with a valid ski pass free of charge.
