TO FIND US: 500meters after you first arrive in Abtenau from Golling on the B162, turn right off the Bundesstrasse directly after the DIY store Lagerhaus and Autohaus Picker. Drive up the small hill alongside a small meadow on your right. Villa Edelweiss is the first house on your right hand side, signposted on the wall of the drive facing you. Please drive straight past the front of the villa, down the small track and to the rear of the villa. There you will find your parking, and your private main entrance door under the terrace.
OUR NEIGHBORHOOD: Villa Edelweiss offers two exceptionally well appointed apartments with free WiFi, private use of the heated indoor swimming pool and spectacular mountain views. Situated only 8mins walk from all village amenities, Villa Edelweiss is in the DACHSTEIN-WEST SKI REGION and only a short drive from Salzburg and the famous Ski resorts of Schladming, Flachau, Obertauern, the Ski Amade’ Ski Circus. For SUMMER SIGHTSEEING Berchtesgaden (the Eagle's Nest), Hallstatt, Hallein (Saltmines) and WERFEN (Icecaves) and the spectacular lakes of the Salzkammergut. SHOPPING: We have a wide range of excellent shops and restaurants in the village within 8mins walk of the apartments. They offer sale/hire of activity equipment, clothing and more...., Our two local supermarkets open Mon – Sat until 18.00hrs and for three hours on Sunday morning during the peak holiday season only. Otherwise all shops are closed on Sundays and public/religious holidays.
