Free private parking is available on site, and bicycles can be rented a 5-minute walk away. Wine tasting events and a tour of the vineyards can be booked, accompanied by regional products provided by the family-owned catering business. They include an iced soup of honey melon with a Beerenauslese sweet wine, or a Granny Smith apple dessert with a classic Welschriesling, a dry white wine. Guests can also enjoy a rich buffet breakfast including egg dishes, home made sweet dishes or daily fresh bread from local bakery Decorated in a Laura Ashley style, the modern rooms at Landhaus Willi Opitz feature a flat-screen cable TV, a bathroom, a work desk, and extra long beds with a length of 2.20 metres. Other facilities include e-bike charging station and bicycle washing area. Neusiedler See Card is included in the room rate from March till October. The centre of Illmitz is a 10-minute walk away from Landhaus Willi Opitz, and riding stables can be reached in a 5-minute walk. Vienna Airport and Bratislava Airport are both a 45-minute drive away. The Mörbisch Lake Festival is a 20-minute ferry ride away. The ferry also picks up visitors after the show.
