Beautifully refurbished Duplex cottage right on the waters edge. A warm sunny cottage with a 8KW heat pump for those cooler winter days and an air conditioner for those beautiful hot summer days. Fully self contained 2 bedrooms; main bedroom has 1 queen bed and the second bedroom has 2 singles. Shower over bath, dish washer, flat screen TV, DVD, BBQ, wrap-around deck with outdoor 6 seat setting. Plenty of room for sunbathing, reading or just general outdoor leisure time. 10 mins from ferry and other attractions. Right on the waters edge, great for fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking, bush walking and exploring beautiful Bruny Island. 50 meters walk to jetty and boat ramp. Mooring available (subject to availability)
Bruny Island is a very safe island, quiet and peaceful. It's a great 'get away from it all' kind of place. There are a number of eateries including cafes, oyster bar, cheese & wine company, Bruny Hotel/pub, Premiium Wines just to name a few. They are all quite spread out and as there is no public transport a car is essential. The coastline is lovely with some fabulous safe swimming beaches; Dennes point, Adventure Bay, Jetty Beach and more. Great for boating/kayaking as the bays are secluded and generally calm. Approx 12 well signed walks from 15 minutes to 5 hours. Something for everyone with plenty of freedom and fresh air.
