It is a beautiful, relaxing property near the beach, golf course and Mornington Main Street Village. Close to wineries and everything The Peninsula has to offer. This Airbnb has been in operation for 2 years, and we are proud to be Superhosts with all five-star reviews and "preferred guest status". You can access the entire ground floor (including kitchen, laundry, two sitting/lounge areas), external deck, BBQ, and garden during your stay. We live on the property upstairs and are available as little or as often as you want. This is your Retreat. Sit back, enjoy The Peninsula and relax. There are guidebooks in your room and in the lounge area and maps. Sam compiles the Peninsula Essence Magazine so he has his pulse on what is happening locally. For what is happening in the local area, have a look at our Airbnb site, which is updated regularly under the "Location" section. Or just ask us and we will let you know. There is a local map and brochures in the lounge area for you to check out the local attractions. Fast WIFI is connected to the NBN, and desks are available for you to work from "home". The Beach is a FIVE-minute walk to the magical beachboxes of Mills Beach, which is patrolled in the summer. The automatic gates are there for you to secure your boat, jet ski or trailer. On arrival, we will provide you with a snack, bubbles, and ingredients to make yourself an Italian meal if you are tired. But you are spoilt for choice with walkable local restaurants, cafes and wine bars. The beds are recommended by our local Chiropractor. Explore the wonders of the Mornington Peninsula from wineries, day spas, local food artisans, pick your own berries, distilleries etc. We provide you with a complete list on arrival, or contact us before arrival, and we will ensure your time with us is as relaxed or eventful as you require. When staying at Balcombe Retreat it is important to not that you will be sharing the house with the hosts. We respect your privacy and the photos show you the shared areas and your private areas. We mainly live upstairs whilst you are and occasionally use the kitchen and food storage areas.
