Southern Barossa Valley Escape
A peaceful, family-friendly retreat on 13 acres of countryside in the Barossa Goldfields near Lyndoch — ideal for couples, families, or solo travellers seeking space to relax, reconnect, and explore.
Set in a large modernised older-style home full of warmth and character, guests enjoy exclusive use of up to two bedrooms and a beautiful Bali-inspired bathroom with a rain shower and a deep bath. The main bedroom includes a queen bed and optional cot (up to 2yrs); the second has a king single, single bed, and optional single sofa bed — perfect for kids or up to 3 extra guests. Quality cotton bedding is provided.
Shared areas include a spacious lounge, full kitchen, dining space, BBQ, swimming pool, WiFi, and a combustion wood heater for winter stays. There’s a large, flat outdoor area with easy access (just two steps), plus a circular driveway and room to park a caravan.
Wander the orchard and garden, relax by the pond, or gather by the hilltop firepit. With stunning views to immerse in, toys and games for fun, cosy spots to sit and a swing to enjoy. The perfect spot to relax, unwind and soak in the surroundings - or get active exploring the property and surrounding areas.
We live onsite at one end of the house and give you plenty of space to feel at home in the shared areas. We have two small chihuahuas (kept outside or in an enclosed space), and we’re happy to offer local tips, walking trails, wine tour transfers, and optional wellness sessions like kinesiology and energy balancing.
Close to wineries, walking and bike trails, Parra Wirra Park and family-friendly attractions, this is your perfect base to unwind and enjoy the best of the Barossa.
Welcome to Barossa Views Homestay — your peaceful escape on our tranquil 13-acre property, where comfort, connection, and calm are at the heart of everything we offer.
We’re friendly, easygoing hosts who stay at our end of the house, giving you plenty of space to feel at home in the shared areas. Guests have private access to two comfortable bedrooms (perfect for a family or small group), as well as a beautiful modern Bali-style bathroom and a separate toilet. All other areas — including the living room, kitchen, dining spaces and outdoors - are shared, and we’re always respectful of your space and privacy.
There’s a single entry to the home, and guests are free to come and go as they please. We’ll be here if you need us — whether for a quick chat, local recommendations, or to help you book a personalised wine tour or relaxing wellness session such as kinesiology or energy balancing.
We also share our home with two gentle and friendly chihuahuas. They’re either outdoors or safely enclosed in their own small indoor space when inside, so you can relax without worry.
Whether you're sipping coffee on the verandah at sunrise or enjoying a glass of wine by the fire at sunset, we hope you'll feel completely at ease here. We love hosting people from all walks of life and are happy to offer as much conversation or solitude as you’d like.
Come stay, unwind, and make yourself at home.
