Lonely Planet stated that “Fishing Boat Harbour is Fremantle’s culinary crux: an arc of seafood eateries tracing the waterline, with something for all budgets.” We are less than 5 minutes' walk from Bathers Beach and the waterfront restaurants in Fishing Boat Harbour. You can walk a little further into the centre of Fremantle in less than 10 minutes and enjoy the vibrancy of the Fremantle Markets and Cappuccino Strip. The centre of Fremantle features many historic buildings from the city's colonial past and the 'West End' is home of the Notre Dame University. Visits further abroad to Rottnest Island are easy to arrange with Be. Fremantle being only a 10 minute walk away from the Fremantle Port. The famous Cottesloe Beach is less than a 20 minute drive away whilst the centre of Perth is only 30 minutes away. Public Transport around Fremantle is readily available, with a range of free Central Area Transit (CAT) Buses travelling through Fremantle. Regular train services to Perth are also available from the historic Fremantle Train Station.
