Beachcomber is an elevated two-bedroom beach house situated in a quiet, tranquil area. Guests can access Sandpiper Beach directly in front of the property via a short walk down Oyster Bay Court and along the waterfront track. Explore, Relax and Rejuvenate at this delightful property. Property information

The open plan living space includes lounge, dining and kitchen and has expansive views over Great Oyster Bay, as well as Freycinet National Park including glimpses of the Hazards. Beachcomber is a short drive to the world-famous Freycinet National Park and the Coles Bay township. Beachcomber is ideal for one or two couples, a family, or the solo traveller. Guests will enjoy stunning views in a light, sunny living space which is of passive solar design with sturdy blinds to control the sun’s entry depending on the season and the time of day. The house can be heated or cooled with a newly installed air conditioning unit. Wi-Fi is available, with smart tv’s in the lounge and main bedroom. The main bedroom has a queen bed while in the second bedroom offers the option of two singles or a king. Bedrooms have quality linen. The house has a laundry with washing machine and trough. In the bathroom you’ll find basin and vanity, toilet, a shower over a bath, towels, and a hair dryer. The kitchen is full equipped with stove/oven, microwave, toaster, pod coffee machine, kettle, and fridge. A large deck wraps around the front of the house and is equipped with outdoor furniture and a Webber BBQ. Guests can enjoy a fire pit area at the front of the house (May – September only).

Neighbourhood information

Coles Bay is a 2.5 hour drive from Hobart & 2.5 hour drive from Launceston (if you drive down the Midland Hwy and across from Campbelltown) Please be careful driving at night, as soon as the sun starts going down the native wildlife start to come out. It is advisable to try to be at your next destination before dark wherever you are driving in Tasmania.
