Capturing cool ocean breezes, this apartment has lapping waves at your doorstep and a laid back seaside atmosphere. Stroll straight off the beach back home with a level entry and a grassy front yard. Sliding doors from the living room create an instant connection with the coast. Inside, the living and dining space is open plan. Relax on the sofa enjoying the fresh air and a good book. Share a meal around the dining table or head to one of the local restaurants to tuck into the region’s fresh produce. This kitchen comes with an oven, stove and microwave if you want to prepare meals at home. In the evening, enjoy a spot of TV or use the dining table to set up a laptop and work remotely. The primary bedroom comes with a queen-size bed, set with side tables and reading lights, and mirrored wardrobes for storing your belongings. The second bedroom features two sets of bunk beds, sleeping four guests. The bathroom is a neat space to refresh with fresh linens and complimentary toiletries for your stay. You’ll also have access to shared laundry facilities within the building. Parking is provided for two cars next to the driveway (behind the mailboxes).

Neighbourhood information

The beachside suburb of Towradgi sits just 10 minutes’ drive north of Wollongong and boasts a relaxed seaside lifestyle. Hit the surf at Towradgi Beach or take a dip in the ocean-fed Towradgi Rock Pool. The neighbourhood is home to foreshore parks and a handful of eateries including the Towradgi Beach Hotel and the Towradgi Bowlo across the street. While in the area, stretch your legs on the Blue Mile Pathway as it meanders along the coastline and don’t miss Eat Street Markets held each Thursday in Wollongong’s Crown Street Mall. Walk to Sublime Point Lookout for 180-degree views over the sea and rainforest or get your heart racing paragliding over Stanwell Tops or skydive at North Wollongong. If you’re travelling with the kids, spend a day out at Symbio Wildlife Park or Jamberoo Action Park, both within easy reach.
