Close by on Wollombi Rd is a popular well stocked organic food store with great fresh produce including cheeses and ready - cooked home style meals. You can also order picnic baskets to go , perfect for a day out. There is a popular butcher called the Pickled Pig, on Wollombi Rd . The local Australian pub is a short 15 min walk and does great food plus try the wines and beer on tap.
