Belmont Homestead is set on 14.5 acres on rural land scapes with the Beautiful Wye River running through our property beautiful,to take a swim in in the summer months. First setttled in 1823 by Georege Meredith Belmont in steeped in History and being up to 70.000 acres in its prime with sheep and wheat being Belmonts main industry. Withthe shearing sheds and shearers quaters still used tothis day onthe property by contract shearers. We welcome you here to enjoythe peace and quiet, the history our gardens abd the farm istelf withe orchard full of fruit in the summer months. Please reach out if we can assist your stay in any way.
John and I absolutley love and enjoy Belmont Homestead, to its quiet peacefullness and welcoming our guests to enjoy the property Swansea and surronds. After staying here as guests in 2018 from near Wollomgomg NSW we felt at home here and when Belmont came on the market we purchased it in 2020, a complete and different lifestyle for us both.
Swansea is steeped in History and surrounded by stunning Vineyards. Freciynet National Park and Coles Bay being only a 45 min drive from the Homestead. Surrounded by coast line and stunning beaches, waterfalls and National Parks, we are only a short drive to all this beauty on the East Coast.
