Birch House is the perfect place for one or two families, or groups of friends, who are looking for somewhere to relax near the beach in a modern home with a Scandinavian feel. Birch House has a fully fitted out kitchen and pantry, a large table and outdoor setting, a Weber BBQ and is perfect for entertaining friends and family. We’ve also got a record player and albums, lots of games, children’s toys and DVDs, a wireless speaker for your favourite music and a TV with free WiFi so you can stream your favourite shows or movies. Guests can also enjoy the shared outdoor pool (seasonal), the tennis court (rackets and balls provided) or use the bikes to explore the neighborhood. A second upstairs living area (where the TV is located) is the perfect place for the kids to hang out while the adults are relaxing down stairs. We also have an outdoor shower for after your beach activities and a rail for drying bathers, towels and wetsuits. Both living areas have split system air conditioners and the bedrooms all have fans for those warm summer days. Bedding, towels and toiletries are also provided. Dogs are also welcome (just not in the bedrooms or on the indoor or outdoor furniture).
My family and I own this fabulous beach house on Phillip Island and we’d be delighted to share it with you. We’re both professionals and have two sons and a little dog. We’ve set up the house to make it as comfortable as possible for our guests. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
Birch House is in Cowes, on Phillip Island, the home of the famous little penguin parade. We’re less than 15 minutes walk to the beautiful, child friendly Silverleaves bay beach and the iconic Silverleaves Store, which does fabulous coffee and food. Our home is also opposite the Phillip Island golf course and around the corner from the bowling alley and an indoor rock climbing centre. Phillip Island has a number of fantastic surf beaches, many beautiful nature walks, two wineries, a koala park, an Australian animal wildlife park, Amaze N Things, the Chocolate factory and much, much more.
