THE SPACE: Comfortable 3-Bedroom Home Near City is located in a quiet area just 10 minutes by car from the city centre, and offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to local attractions. Every detail of the home is designed for comfort and style, making it the ideal choice for your stay with the whole family in this peaceful place. The lounge area opening onto the patio, with a ceiling fan and bar table with stools, offers a suite perfect for lazing in front of the Smart TV with complimentary Netflix and local channels. Free unlimited WiFi is provided to feel at home. All three air-conditioned bedrooms offer quality mattresses, ceiling fans, and wardrobes. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom and access to the patio. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has a single-size bed. The unit comes with another bathroom with a shower, and separate laundry room with washing machine as well as tumble dryer, iron, and ironing board and other cleaning basics. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave as well as all basic kitchenware. A coffee Nespresso machine is provided and a few other staples for your convenience. One undercover parking spots is included in your reservation. PLEASE NOTE: It is a duplex with two separate units. The other unit is long-term rented and access driveway is shared. There are three steps to access the unit. The garden is maintained regularly. It is possible our gardener will come during your stay, no one will be accessing the house so there is no need to be at home.

Neighbourhood information

The property is located 2.5 km from the city centre, 850, from the Cairns Showgrand and 1.5km from DFO shopping centre. Only 7-10 mins drive away is the Cairns Esplanade, the jewel in the Cairns crown. It is very popular with locals for walking, jogging, cycle pathways, and exercise equipment at various locations along the length of grassy, well-maintained lawns. The expansive parks and gardens are beautiful. There is a concrete pathway along the beach. Many gas barbecue areas, Muddy's Cafe (local fish and chips, burgers etc) and terrific water playground and jungle play area for kids. The southern end of the Esplanade has many bars and restaurants to choose from, as well as a world-class casino with restaurants (and is adjacent to the main shopping area). Here you will find plenty of tour booking agents for a wide range of reef, rainforest, and tablelands tours scenic flights, fishing trips, balloon flights, and other speciality tours. The Cairns beach is not for swimming. Please use the huge free infinity pool at the southern end of the esplanade which has its own beach and lifesavers. Gas barbecues, ice cream shops and cafes are nearby. Further along, the southern end of the Esplanade is the Marina, from where local charter, fishing charters and daily tour vessels to the reef operate and in the river mouth is the Port for national and international cruise ships.
