Go fly fishing on pristine private lakes, chase trout in a glacial lake, or immerse yourself in World Heritage wilderness. Translation Just 90 minutes from Hobart or Launceston is a place of exceptional natural beauty offering peace & quiet plus championship trout fishing. The area of Great Lake, Tasmania has enough outdoor activities to keep anyone busy. Mountains, lakes, streams, fishing, and hiking, this area has it all & is very accessible from both Hobart and Launceston. Wildlife is abundant such as deer, kangaroo & birds. If you like to fish, this is the place. Quiet & peaceful, our cabin is in a small community area SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS We offer three double beds in separate bedrooms.
We love the outdoors and experience a great sense of peace, tranquility and a quiet joy when outside. We want to share that experience with others. We seek to offer experiences for fly fishers, hikers, couples getaways, bird watchers, bike riders, horse riders and more. We encourage couples to come to re-connect, build on their relationship, and leave strengthened. Our lives are so busy today, pulled in so many directions, always expected to be plugged in, seldom having opportunity to rest, so we want folks to come here to unplug, to unwind, and to experience peace, whether through casting your line in the water, scuffing the dirt of a trail, or poking down the road on a bicycle.
