The moment you pass through the gates you sense this is a unique place - it's more than just a house, its a haven offering the tranquility and privacy of resort living in the countryside. Just 90 minutes drive from Melbourne, located on the fringes of Inverloch this idyllic coastal retreat is just 3 minutes drive from the popular beaches, shops and restaurants of Inverloch town.​ With 5 bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to 12 guests and 3 bathrooms, there is plenty space for everyone. All bedrooms have their own flat screen smart TV connected to Netflix and Free TV so you can watch what you like, when you want. Set on 1 acre in a tranquil setting you couldn't be closer to nature; completely surrounded by native bush and trees, a myriad of singing birds, lightening quick rabbits and the occasional kangaroo - you might be lucky and spot a koala or two as well. There are plenty outdoor activities for everyone from the solar heated swimming pool and covered outdoor spa to the expansive gardens for kicking a footy or playing a game of cricket. The young ones have their own jungle gym and trampoline. Escape indoors to the Adults Leisure room complete with full sized pool table, piano, comfy sofas, assortment of board games and a small library. There's plenty to see or do nearby but you'll have so much available here at Elk Estate you'll never want to leave.
I live in Inverloch with my husband and 2 dogs and enjoy walking on the beach at sunrise and sunset, going for bike rides or visiting friends. I personally welcome all guests to our beautiful home at check-in for a walk through of the property and amenities and am proud and delighted when guests leave rejuvenated and content after their stay. It is so rewarding when guests comment in their reviews "we can't wait to come back to Elk Estate again" - some have even made it their annual getaway. We live on the adjoining property but more often than not will be away whilst guests are staying.
Situated just 4 minutes drive from the quaint coastal town of Inverloch with its many restaurants, coffee shops, beaches, cycling and walking trails there is more than enough to see and do. Take a day trip to Wilsons Prom National Park or a 30 minute drive to Phillip Island to see the nightly penguin parade.
