Straddie Sales and Rentals is a holiday rental agency based in Amity Point off the coast from Brisbane on North Stradbroke Island in Queensland. It is owned and operated by sisters Karen and Annie who grew up on Straddie and have intimate knowledge of what this breath-taking island has to offer. The agency specialises in managing a variety of holiday properties to suit every budget, from small original fishing shacks to premium waterfront houses. While most of these holiday homes are located in the township of Amity Point, SSR have a small number of villas and houses for rent at Point Lookout and are looking to grow that market.... so watch this space!

The house sleeps up to 6 guests with 1 x Queen bed in main room and 1 x double and 1 x single bunk in the second bedroom. The fully equipped kitchen adjoins the dining area. The bathroom has a shower and separate toilet. The yard is fully fenced making it child friendly with loads of room for off-street parking for multiple vehicles and boats. Dogs are welcome (outside only).
Explore the beaches in your 4WD drive with a beach permit and via the access only a few minutes away. Amity Point village with a grocery store and amenities is a convenient 5 minute drive away. Alternatively Point Lookout is only a 10 minute drive. Come and enjoy this secluded sanctuary on beautiful North Stradbroke Island.
Fresh linen is supplied and beds will be made upon arrival. Quilts, sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, hand towels and tea towels are all provided. All you need to bring are the beach towels.

Neighbourhood information
North Stradbroke Island (known as Minjerribah to our traditional owners) is the second largest sand island in the world and boasts some of the best beaches in Queensland. The subtropical climate means Straddie enjoys sunshine almost all year round, with a summer wet season and mild, dry winters. Summer temperatures average at 29°C during the day with winter bringing an average top of 21°C.
Located 30 kilometres southeast of Brisbane, Straddie is 38 kilometres in length and 11 kilometres at its widest point and covers an area of 275.2km2. Along the eastern shoreline of the island you will find soft, white sands and kilometres of rolling surf. The western side of the island faces Moreton Bay and offers calm bay waters and pristine beaches, ideal for families of young children, boating enthusiasts and those pursuing water sports without the waves.
Locals pride themselves on creating a friendly and welcoming vibe for visitors and with three townships to roam and explore, Straddie is never short of attractions and activities to engage visitors of all ages. Your holiday house is situated in the township of Amity Point, located on the northern western tip of the island just 16 kilometres from Dunwich, Amity Point (with the traditional name of Pulan Pulan) is a charming village just waiting to be explored. The gentle waters of Moreton Bay ensure its a top spot for families and people who enjoy a multitude of water sports. Jet ski users, kayakers and boating enthusiasts all enjoy the waters that surround this quaint township. The gentle bay waters open up on the northern end to surf beaches, great for fishing and 4WD activities.
Home to some 340 residents, Amity Point has long been a popular holiday destination for those in search of a more slow-paced island getaway. The flat, quiet streets throughout the township are ideal for bike riding and being only 1km from one end of the town to the other, most amenities are within walking distance from your accommodation.
