Company information

Your hosts are Irene and Russ, originally from Brisbane. Our love affair with Tasmania began during a two-week holiday, and like many mainlanders (as locals call us), we fell head over heels for Tassie. Within two months, we had purchased Glencoe, our wonderful Tasmanian country farmhouse, and began the journey of restoring it to its former glory. We initially planned to have just a couple of farm animals, but our herd has grown considerably since then. Irene loves tending to the grounds and ensuring our veggie garden is thriving, providing you with a true paddock-to-plate experience. She’s also guilty of spoiling all the animals here at Glencoe. We take great pride in producing and preparing high-quality food for our guests. If the produce on your table isn’t from our garden, rest assured it’s sourced locally wherever possible. We live on the property, but keep to our own living spaces to ensure your stay is as peaceful and enjoyable as possible. Rest assured though that we’re around if you need us, between the hours of 7am to 8pm.

Choose from Queen, King, or twin beds, depending on room availability. Guests can relax with a book or connect with travel companions in front of a cosy log fire in our separate guest lounge.
