The isolation and the outlook from cabin 1 was amazing. The cabin was unique made of stone. I loved walking over the dunes to the beach passing by the goats in the valley.

Wonderful location. Very rustic and you need to be organized with supplies. Lovely to watch the whales 🐋, and sunset from your patio. We enjoyed our stay but 2 nights were enough for us oldies.

Sitting high on an escarpment, with panoramic views of the dunes and the beautiful Indian Ocean is Gnaraloo Homestead - the beating heart of Gnaraloo Station. A short seven kilometre drive north will drop you off in Gnaraloo Bay an ideal location to launch your boat or cruise the sandy beaches and snorkel the amazing Ningaloo Reef. Gnaraloo Homestead offers a range of self contained, self catering accommodation to suit all budgets and sizes. Linen is not included, please bring towels, sheets and pillows (or we can provide them for an additional fee). A short seven kilometre drive from Gnaraloo Homestead, you’ll find yourself at the sandy entrance of Gnaraloo Bay. A small boat launch is your gateway to great fishing out in the deep blue. The shallower turquoise waters are inviting and they will not disappoint. An amazing show of turtles, rays and colourful fish swim through the reef should you choose to follow them on your snorkel or dive. Dry off on the tall, soft sand dunes that border the water. In 2011, UNESCO inscribed the Ningaloo Coast on its World Heritage List for its natural beauty and biological diversity.
I love Tombstones If you’re ready for world-class waves, head out for the best-kept surfing secret on the West coast. The waves are no joke - the strong left barrel breaks over a sharp reef. Experienced surfers will love the challenge.
Monument Cliff If you want to feel on top of the world, take a short drive from 3Mile Beach and find yourself on the towering tip of the Monument Cliff. This magnificent view is not to be missed - especially for sunset lovers. When the wind blows Southwesterly, the surfers clear the waters and leave way for kite and wind surfers at the Tombstones - the best place to go if your goal is to ride the waves. If you prefer flat water, Gnaraloo Bay is a great alternative. Get in your boat off the coast of Gnaraloo for a fishing session and you won’t be disappointed. Outside the sanctuary zones are great catches of Spangles, Rock Cod, Coronation Trout, Ranking, Pearl Pearch, Yellow-fin Tuna and Pink Snapper - to name a few. No boat? No problem! There is great fishing along the Gnaraloo coastline; enthusiasts have brought in Spangles, Trevally, Mackerel, Bluebone, Thread-fin Salmon and Tailor. Turtle nesting and feral predation activities are monitored at the Gnaraloo.
