Cannot get more central. Absolutely gorgeous vintage-tinged townhouse in the heart of Echuca directly opposite The American Hotel & Oscar W's Restaurant. A stone's throw to the Murray River, Historic Port area & Main Street shops. Open aired balcony & eating area means you can watch the world go by from a relaxed vantage point in the tree tops. Enjoy the old worlde feel mixed with delightfully colourful decor, books and artworks. Free wifi, Apple TV & Netflix. TVs in both bedrooms & lounge. THE SPACE The most sought after accommodation in Echuca. It doesn't get any better. -2 Large Bedrooms -Large Loungeroom -Petite kitchen -Full sized bath in petite bathroom (with shower) - Huge balcony eating area overlooking Port of Echuca - Glorious staircase HISTORY OF THE BUILDING The property is steep in rich town history. Once a hospital (you'II note the flag crosses on top of the building above the balcony. Dr Henry Crossen, an Irishman, erected this unusual Italianate residence in 1876 after having practised as a surgeon in the town since 1863. It was designed by the noted Bendigo architect W.C. Vahland.
