Sian and Peter West are Principals of Ocean Blue Coastal Retreats and discovered the Mornington Peninsula in 2004 when purchasing a holiday home as an investment. In 2006, Blue Moon Cottages was purchased and a group of four cottages formed the core of the business. Since then, more accommodation was added and we now have a portfolio of more than 40 properties. Their Mornington Peninsula knowledge comes from living on the peninsula since 2008, and working closely with Tourism Victoria and Mornington Peninsula Tourism has built an award-winning tourism business. They are both “hands on” in the business ensuring both guests and owners are provided with attention to detail at every level.

Longer stay discounts available for direct bookings We loved this house as soon as we walked in the door. The kids immediately hunkered down in the tiny games room which is made up of a cushioned area to play computer games and watch TV. While we set ourselves up on the large deck overlooking the garden and the Mornington Peninsula surrounds. This sunny spot is perfect for much of the day with a coffee and a good book. In the evening everyone congregated around the BBQ and outdoor dining table for dinner and then the kids would set up the table tennis in the garden room while we lit the fire pit and drank wine and toasted marshmallows for dessert. Included in your package is a bottle of sparkling wine and small local produce hamper for you to enjoy. Please note that there are security cameras located on the roof of the house. The cameras are not active during your stay and not connected to wifi. PAWfect What fun! a new house to visit that lets four-legged friends like me sleep inside. Yay! a garden with tall fences to keep me safe. Love the lawn and bushes, there are lots of interesting smells. And we had lots of cover under the house and places to explore. And there's a special basket just for me. No way! What's in there? Ooh, ooh! a treat from PAWDINKUM. I LOVE THIS PLACE.

Neighbourhood information

Highview is located in a quiet area of Tootgarook, approximately 3km from the bayside beach. Alternatively, Rye Ocean Beach is just a short drive away which is a popular surfing spot. The Peninsula Hot Springs is only a 7min drive away and also close are a number of popular golf courses - take your pick. It's a 1.3km walk to The Hidden Kitchen for breakfast or lunch or to pick up some gourmet supplies for dinner. Make your stay a complete relaxation weekend by heading to the Peninsula Hot Springs only 5 minutes away by car and afterwards have lunch at The Cups Estate practically next door, its only 40 minute walk away from HIGHVIEW so if you have one to many pinots....say no more!

Please note that there is a 1.7% charge when you pay with a Visa or MasterCard and 3.42% for American Express. A 50% deposit needs to be paid within 48 hours of booking, and the balance at least 30 days in advance of the arrival date via credit card into the secure guest portal we provide or via BPAY. We will also require your direct email address, a photo of you holding your photo ID and a list of guest names and ages to be uploaded into the guest portal before your booking can be confirmed. Guests will receive our full terms and conditions upon booking and payment of monies will constitute agreement to these terms and conditions.
