Our yurt is on our property in a bush setting in the southern highlands. We have dogs and horses and native wild life so guests must love dogs as they love guests. There is also a woodfired pizza oven for your use. We are happy to explain how you can make the best pizza you have ever eaten. Due to our dogs and the close proximity to the horses we can no longer accommodate your dogs. Our shepherds hut is a second bedroom for the yurt with it’s own toilet and kitchenette. If you just book out the yurt the shepherds hut will not be rented out during your stay. If 2 people wish separate queen beds they will need to book for 3 people to cover the extra room and also let us know so we have everything ready for you. Phone service is best via wifi calling or apps that use the internet . Different parts of the property have better service. The highlands is full of lovely places to eat, winery’s, bush walks, boutique breweries, waterfalls and markets. Like ionaforest on Facebook to see things to do. Wingello has a shop/postoffice so you are best to bring what you need with you. We provide milk butter and eggs if the chooks are laying. There is a train station at wingello. Bundanoon is 15 minutes away with pub cafes and shops and an IGA . Marulan is 15 minutes away with an IGA pub and cafes. Both have petrol available also.
