Kyogle Comfy Home Stay is a weatherboard house with a balcony (Porch) entrance with a small outdoor setting, great spot for a morning coffee. The interior is an open plan space with 2 queen & 1 single bedrooms. The kitchen is off the main lounge/dinning space. This leads onto a spacious deck with a larger outdoor dining area, lit by fairy lights at night. The bathroom is freshly renovated with a full sized bath, shower, vanity, toilet, and laundry. The Decor of the Comfy Home Stay has lots of art work to make it visually appealing, with quirky homely touches. Book either the Green room and/or the Retro Room. The Gold room (single) is booked on request. (Message me)
Early in 2018, Jennie relocated the house from Wynnum in Brisbane. It arrived on a huge truck, just prior to daybreak and was expertly maneuvered on to the site in two pieces, minus the roof, with the front porch missing, no bathroom and no back deck or stairs. Over the next 4 months with lots of hands on sweat and an odd tear the house became what you see today. Now its the garden and grounds that she will be focusing on to create an oasis of green (yet to planted) rooms with edible trees and plants. The first step is there - a herb/veggie garden, off the back deck and kitchen...feel free to pick some parsley, rocket or a chilli or two ....
Quiet suburban area, 1.5 kms from the township of Kyogle, nice leisurely walk along side Lake Harrison and the duck pond for shops, cinema, cafes, gallery & museum. Travel into the pristine rainforest within the boarder ranges for short or lengthy walking tracks.
