Greg and Joy began Mudstone Spa Retreat in July 2014 with the vision of providing a quality, Eco-friendly and quaint, private accommodation for couples. The owners, Greg and Joy Hamlyn can be found at nearby Mudstone Manor from 07:00 to 19:00 midweek and 10:00 to 14:00 weekend, should you require any assistance. Our groundsman, Wayne Jones (Jonesy) can be found on the property from 08:00 to 16:00 midweek. As with most country guest houses, we have dogs on the property. Mudstone has two very friendly English Staffordshire Terriers for security and pest control. Please advise if you need them secured during your stay as they have free range of the property to perform their duties.

Mudstone Spa Retreat accommodation complex is just 10 minutes from the beautiful town of Pemberton. Mudstone Spa Retreat boasts a beautiful cottage (complete with spa and sauna) and a stunning Bali Inspired Villa. The 'Spa Cottage' is designed around a 100 year old train carriage and has a private 6 person Jacuzzi and 4 person infra-red sauna. The 'Villa" is designed around 2, 40 ft Sea Containers and features a massive outdoor area with two person hammock, outdoor bath and BBQ area. Inside, the Villa is opulent, with chandelier, Jack and Jill shower, Blue Ray DVD's, large television and amazingly comfortable bed. The Spa Retreat is however, a true Retreat. There is no commercial TV (but plenty of movies) no Wi-Fi and only Telstra mobile reception to ensure you escape from a hectic lifestyle. Mudstone does not have a formal reception. Guests are given their room details so they can self check-in immediately upon arrival.

Pemberton is a quiet and beautiful country town in the south west of Western Australia. Mudstone Spa Retreat is located just 10 minutes from town and is situated close to fabulous wineries, restaurants and tourist attractions. There is a vast array of walking and hiking tracks, climbing trees, rivers and forests to explore. For the adventurous, wild and rugged Yeagarup beach is just 15 km away (a 4 wheel drive and moderate to good 4 wheel drive skill is required). Bring a pump, as soft sands demands reducing your tyre pressure.
