Leave the hustle and bustle of city life behind. Relax and explore in this spectacular natural environment surrounded by the sandstone escarpments of Dharug National Park. It’s only 90 minutes from Sydney and 2km from the historic Hawkesbury River and Spencer village. Connect with the natural beauty of the property in a modern, fully equipped loft apartment. Adjoining the accommodation is a fully functioning pottery studio where you can make artworks or paint, with or without my involvement.
My aim is to ensure guests enjoy their stay. It is a beautiful place in a spectacular setting. It is here for guests to enjoy their privacy and nature.
Two kilometers along the road is Spencer village with its licensed general store. Here you can enjoy a dine-in or take-away meal, coffee or a beer, sitting on its veranda overlooking Mangrove Creek and the Hawkesbury River, or, on the pier or under the tree ('Dunkirk Hotel') at the water's edge. You can fish using bait from the shop and there's a public boat ramp. Adjoining the store is 'Spencer Thai' serving delicious take-away food. There are many enjoyable surrounding day trips. Bring your boat, canoe, bicycles, water skis and golf clubs. Wisemans Ferry with its shops, golf course, etc. is about 25 minutes drive west along the Hawkesbury River. A little further on is the historic village of St Albans. A car is necessary to get here, and it takes about 90 minutes to drive here from Sydney via the scenic M1 and Wisemans Ferry Road.
