Nordic Star is a beautifully cosy home that sleeps 10. It is centrally located in Maleny, 3 mins drive (15 mins walk) to town. Featuring an outdoor deck with sweeping views down to the lake where turtles, ducks and our resident platypuses play. The house consists of 2 units, 1 on the ground floor, and 1 on the 1st floor, joined by an external staircase. Please note the bunk bed on the ground floor is a triple bunk, comprising a double bed below and a single bed above (sleeps 3 - child only on the top bunk please). Guests will benefit from the following: - Fast Wi-Fi, cable channels, Flat Screen Smart TVs - Nespresso Coffee Machine - Split Air Systems to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer - New, modern bathrooms with walk-in showers - High-quality bedding, pillows and towels All are welcome including adults and children. We can provide a high chair for your little ones. We are pleased to accommodate a small dog, please advise of the breed and weight when booking.

My side of our family is of Danish heritage, and the Danes often use the word hygge. Pronounced 'hoo-gah' this Danish expression is an attitude towards life that emphasizes finding joy in everyday moments. Hygge is about celebrating coziness, warmth and family, as well as practising mindfulness. We are sure you will find your own piece of hygge at Nordic Star.

We bought Nordic Star because of its location, close to the heart of Maleny, and the stunning beauty and nature of the place. Take time to enjoy pottering around the many diverse artisan shops selling local cheeses, gourmet foods, gifts, natural remedies, and art and craft. The heart of Maleny township is Maple St which is just a 3 mins drive. Nordic Star is situated in a quiet residential area, with views of the sweeping gardens and lake. The property is a fantastic base for your getaway in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Explore the fascinating shops, local sites, attractions, national parks, and rainforest walks.
