Set before a spectacular Indian Ocean backdrop, Oceanic in Dawesville is a modern beach house with a beautiful, pared-back aesthetic. Dressed in an earthy, natural material palette, this double-storey abode features limestone feature walls, concrete ceilings and floors, and stylish-meets-cosy furnishings. Spacious yet intimate, Oceanic is a great choice for a family or close friends, with all the mod cons needed for a relaxing holiday by the beach. We love the home’s woodfire, which warms the main living spaces during the cooler months; and the indoor-outdoor kitchen, which lets guests enjoy the best of inside and out. Oceanic’s pièce de resistance, though, would have to be its large upstairs viewing deck and adjoining master bedroom, which affords the most breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, located just metres away from the home.
