Placid Waters Holiday Apartments are located at Bongaree on the beautiful Bribie Island. Indulge yourself in the perfect getaway, enjoy a peaceful water front setting, overlooking the Pumicestone passage, or the large swimming pool and tropical gardens on the only island accessible by bridge and less than an hours drive from Brisbane. All of the apartments are two bedroom, fully self contained with all linen supplied, each with their own balconies. Units are air conditioned in the lounge room and have ceiling fans in the bedrooms. All have Foxtel sports and movie channels, WiFi access is available, as well as secure undercover parking and ample off street parking for the boat or larger vehicles.
We are ideally situated on the quiet side of the island, within walking distance to restaurants, bowls and sports clubs and the RSL club. Bring the family! We are located directly opposite the Seaside Museum, Brennan park reserve which has weekly markets on the first 3 Sundays each month, play ground area as well as the jetty, which is great for the kids fishing and most importantly for you to sit back and relax and enjoy the experience of the lovely island. For those interested in sand driving, access is available to 4wd vehicles to go into the National park which covers about 75% of the island, note permits are required which are available locally. For the boating enthusiasts, a boat ramp is located only about a kilometre from our resort.
