You will be staying in a cheerful, yet quiet self-contained room in our home (we live onsite, upstairs), with free on-site parking and a small outside patio/ terrace area. We are located close to Wollongong CBD (less than a 5 minute drive). The room (which is on the ground level of our house) contains a queen bed, dining area, private ensuite bathroom, small kitchenette (within a walk-in closet), and plasma tv- which has chrome cast available. * Please note that the tv does not get free to air channels, however there are free streaming platforms available (Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime, 7plus, etc). The private ensuite includes a toilet, shower, and all basic toiletries. All towels and bedding linen are provided. The small walk-in kitchenette contains a bar-fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and all food utensils. Tea, coffee, fruit and snacks are provided in the room and included in the room charge. * Please do not bring any additional cook-ware (portable stove-tops, rice cookers, etc), as we do not have the proper ventilation in the room to use these safely. An iron is also available on request, and we have a washing machine and dryer upstairs that can be used if needed. Please let us know upon booking if you will require these utilities. You are welcome to use our outdoor furniture and fire pit in the patio/ terrace area. Please note that the fire needs to be put out no later than 10pm, and outside noise kept to a minimum. Early check-ins and late check-outs are possible, however this is subject to availability. Please let us know upon booking if you require this. There is also a storage area available if you need to store your luggage prior to check-in or after check-out.
We are a young, married couple who live with our two children, and dog (cavoodle) on the property (upstairs). We are very friendly, outgoing and love meeting new people. In our spare time we enjoy being active and spending time with friends and family.
Our home is situated in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood in a safe, central location that has hills. It is 700 metres to Wollongong train station, and less than a 5 minute drive (or approximately 30 minute walk) to Wollongong CBD. It is a 10-15 minute walk to other local attractions such as Coniston pub, Moon Sushi, Coniston Bakery, Post Office and Wollongong Private and Public Hospitals. A public bus stop is located at the bottom of our street. There is a golf-course, as well as beautiful beaches within 5km.
