OUR ACCOMMODATION: If you love nature, you’re eco conscious, and love healthy food, we are the place for you. Retreat from the world, be with nature, and do it in complete luxury, at Quenda. You’ll enjoy relaxing in your stylish ensuite guest room, surrounded by nature, but close to nearby amenities in the hills. You’ll love the quiet up here, with John Forrest National Park a short walk away. Take a dip in our freshwater pool in summer, or enjoy the local waterfalls in winter. Your guest room is luxurious, eco designed, and features a king size bed (some say the most comfortable they’ve ever slept on!), walkthrough shower, and hot water heated by the sun. All designed with you in mind - from low VOC paint, to all natural cleaning products, and with eco friendly toiletries are supplied. Enjoy Netflix for those cosy nights in. We rarely get hot nights here, but for those hot summer days, we have reverse cycle air conditioning - to keep you cool in summer, and warm in winter! Your room is detached from the main home. It is one of two guest rooms, so from time to time, there may be 1-2 other guests staying here. Feel free to say hi, because they are as chilled as you are, and are here for the quiet, also! Your guest room is separate to our home, so you have your own private entrance. You can chill by the pool, or in your private Buddha garden. You’re free to explore our 1.5 acre property, there are many places to relax. In winter there is a creek running, and the heritage trail (walking & cycling) is at the rear of our property. This leads you into John Forrest National Park. BREAKFAST: You can enjoy our famous wholesome optional weekend breakfast for an additional charge. Our breakfasts are often a highlight for guests! We only fill you up with the good stuff!
ABOUT US: Hi! We live in the Perth Hills - we're surrounded by trees, walking trails, waterfalls and wildlife. We created Quenda Guesthouse to share our space, and our love of the hills. We are travellers at heart, and we love hosting. If you'd like to experience our peaceful spot and our wholesome breakfasts - we'd love to see you soon!
NEIGHBOURHOOD: We're in the Perth Hills, between Midland and Darlington, next to John Forrest National Park. We are on a quiet street, and we are surrounded by nature! You'll feel like you're away from it all, but we are only 40 minutes from the city. We are lucky enough to have the Heritage Trail at the rear of our property. This is a great walking and cycling trail which leads into John Forrest National Park at the end of our street. We're also a stone's throw away from a beautiful waterfall. The Parkerville Tavern is a 10 minute walk away. You'll feel like you're away from it all, but with amenities near by. The Perth Hills are best explored by car. Our nearest town centre for supplies is Mundaring, where you'll find some great cafes, walking trails, parks, markets, and Mundaring Weir.
