All cottages are ground level; there are no steps on the property. Each cottage has two entrances great for two couples or singles travelling together. Nelly Bay is centrally located at the south end of the island. It is a large bay that has over one kilometer of beach, with picnic areas, free BBQ, and a children's playground. The southern end of Nelly Bay has a fringing reef that can be reached by swimming from the beach. The ferry terminal is located at the northern end of Nelly Bay and nearby is a supermarket complex.
