The house is really light and extremely spacious for a one bedroom. It's tranquil and a short walk to both the beach, shops and public transport. Off street parking and your own private courtyard make it just that bit more comfortable. We live in the house next door, so any problems we're pretty easily available.
We both love travelling and have stayed in so many places, that we tried to make this house the type of place we'd like to stay. No clutter, a huge, comfy bed, nice big shower and a full kitchen.
It's a pretty neighbourhood, with lovely gardens and an easy stroll to the beach and shops, but also a bus at the end of the road to St Kilda, Brighton and Sandringham in one direction and Beaumaris, Cheltenham and Southland in the other. People are friendly and they are often out for a stroll. It's a safe area and walking along the beach to the shops is a great way to decompress. Black Rock is well known for being surrounded by world class golf courses and extremely popular with cyclists travelling along Beach Rd. Black Rock is often where they stop for a break due to the excellent cafes.
