Strangways Villa is situated in an established area of Mount Gambier, very close to the city centre. It was built in 1950 and has been recently renovated. We have a lovely walnut tree which shades the back garden with a seating area where you can be entertained by 'our girls', which are our chickens, providing a rural feel to the property which we tend to twice daily.
Thank you for looking at our property for your travels. My husband Mark and I are both retired. I was a music teacher and my husband a painter. We are both musicians and currently play at many venues around South Australia and Victoria.. We may be your entertainment while you are out and about.
The Property is established in the older area of Mount Gambier. This section established in the 1950's with mainly limestone homes which are very cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The Blue Lake is within walking distance from the property making an enjoyable walk on a cool evening. The main street is a 10-15 min walk or 2 mins in the car. It has all your needs including, cafe's, restaurants and boutique shops to explore. As it is closed to the city all grocery stores, petrol station and hotels are also at your fingertips. The beautiful cave gardens are also located in this area of town.
