Host Information

Historic country homestead with grand proportions, beautifully set among scattered gums on a 70 acre farm - one hour from Melbourne and 15mins from Daylesford, Kyneton and Castlemaine. A winding driveway descends into a private little valley taking in views across paddocks, grazing cattle, dams, distant bushland, gold mining relics and a winter's creek. Generous indoor/outdoor living areas with open plan kitchen and lounge, period features and wrap-around verandah and decking. A large separate outbuilding with dining table, travertine tile floor, open fireplace and valley views is perfect for lunch or dinner gatherings. Can accommodate a couple, family or group of friends with four bedrooms in the main house: 1 king, 1 queen, 1 double, 1x2 single. In addition a separate and spacious outbuilding with ensuite (1x queen) is included in bookings of 9+ guests or an optional addition in smaller size bookings. Extensive outdoor spaces including stone walled courtyard, kitchen garden, fire pit and pizza oven.
