The Belle is a big, beautiful 100-year-old house on the Tweed River in the historic village of Tumbulgum. It sleeps 16 comfortably with 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and so much character on an acre block. The huge wrap-around verandah is the perfect spot to relax and soak up the rural and river views. Built in the 1920's, there are so many unique features including high ceilings with ornate plaster details, decorative architraves, wooden floors, picture rails, wood panelling and a cozy fireplace.
Tumbulgum is a historic village on the Tweed River, situated in the beautiful Tweed Valley in Northern NSW. The Tumbulgum boat ramp is 500m from The Belle and is a great spot for fishing, boating and kayaking. One of our favourite restaurant/cafes, House of Gabriel, is opposite the boat ramp, as well as a bakery, general store and tavern. Husk Distillers, home of the famous Ink Gin, is just 600m away. The Belle is also centrally located to many of the Tweed's stunning wedding venues, including Summergrove Estate, Fins Plantation House, Osteria, Bellingdale Farm, Ardeena, Ancora, Babalou, Tweed Regional Art Gallery and Mavis's Kitchen.
