Arriving at this property, you will instantly notice its grandeur. Spread across two levels, it combines spacious, contemporary interiors with gorgeous alfresco areas to soak up the crisp sea air, including a private pool (solar heated from December to Easter), undercover deck and BBQ area. Inside, a free-flowing layout opens to the backyard, creating a seamless transition between indoors and out. The sunken main living room fronts a central indoor gas fireplace to keep cosy during winter. There is a large dining table where guests can gather for a meal at home, cooking up a feast in the granite kitchen, compact but fully equipped. A second lounge area and games room with a pool table, board games and a ping pong table allow groups to spread out during the evening, creating separate kids and adult zones. Each of the bedrooms has been immaculately presented and comes with a combination of ceiling fans or air-conditioning and heating to keep you comfortable. The master suite is located on the ground level with generous wardrobe space and an ensuite bathroom with a soaker bath. A lovely second queen-sized bedroom is also located on the lower level, as well as an internal laundry with a powder room. The remaining three bedrooms are found upstairs. These all benefit from access to the balcony, one with a king-sized bed and the other with a queen bed; the fifth bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. Freshen up in the main bathroom, with a sleek walk-in shower and retro tiles. Please note that while the property is well-appointed, some finishes — particularly in outdoor areas — show signs of age, and we continue to make improvements to ensure a comfortable stay. The home is located in a quiet residential area, with local shops and parks a short drive away. Secure parking is provided for up to three cars. For security, external cameras are monitoring the front of the home.

Neighbourhood information

The charming seaside village of Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula lies roughly one hours’ drive from Melbourne. Swim in beautiful bay beaches, follow scenic walking trails along the coastline and stock up on local produce at the monthly farmers’ market. In the shopping village you’ll find a selection of specialty shops and cafes. Brunch at Ad Hoc café or The Corner Pantry and sample the region’s renowned pinot noir and chardonnay at more than 50 boutique cellar doors – don’t miss Montalto or Ten Minutes by Tractor. Play a round of golf at one of the area’s famed courses and spend the afternoon unwinding at nearby Peninsula Hot Springs.
