Do you have an extra large family or group that you need to accommodate? Do you want a large heated swimming pool with water feature? You have found the right listing so look no further! This house is situated close to the Airport and is not far from the City Centre. It makes an ideal base for your North QLD holiday. You will love the privacy and the features this house offers. You will feel like you are staying in your own private tropical resort.
I have been a Cairns local for 14 years now and still love exploring hikes and waterfalls in the region and the best cafes and restaurants. I am happy to meet guests if they wish and share local knowledge.
Located in one of the most picturesque and sought after streets in Freshwater your family or group will enjoy the scenic suburb and the close by amenities of the Freshwater Shops, Train Station and restaurants. Only a 5 minute walk to a garden nursery cafe, a French Pattiserie and Freshwater train station where there is a cafe and where the train departs to Kuranda.
Freshwater is one of Cairns most desirable suburbs, being leafy and green, with lots of heritage Qlder style homes. A tropical retreat yet only a 12 minute drive into Cairns city centre, or a 12 minute drive to Cairns northern beaches. Very central location and close to everything.
There is a bus stop a 3 min walk from the house which will take you into town or to the northern beaches. However it is best to use a rental car for getting around Cairns. Taxis and Uber are also available, but you would need to boom those yourself.
