Downstairs is kid heaven with a bunk room, TV room (with streaming services available, and most free-to-air digital channels).

This is such a beautiful part of the world with so much to do, on your doorstep. For beachgoers you are spoilt by choice; there is the kid friendly Lido at Urunga just minutes walk away or take the boardwalk out to Urunga Heads. Hungry Head beach is a short drive away (say hello to the Kangaroos on the way), Valla Beach is 15 minutes drive away and stop at the great cafe at Valla for a yummy bacon and egg roll. For those that love small, character filled towns there is Urunga itself with multiple cafes, pizzeria and the Cex overlooking the river, or Bellingen town centre is just 20 minutes drive away which is our favourite little town for great cafes, shops and restaurants. If you are craving more of an adventure then drive out to Dorigo National Park (40mins) and explore the ancient trees and walk underneath spectacular waterfalls. Go for a horse ride along the beach or kayak along the river. Honestly, this part of the world has it all!
