Property information
Redefining ‘glamping’ the permanent safari tents offer 180-degree sweeping views of farmland, vineyard, and truffle orchard. Once inside, an open plan space has every imaginable comfort including a rotating fireplace, lounge area, bespoke kitchenette, and a rain shower that opens up to the karri forest, drawing you into the natural surrounds. Sourcing only the best in natural fabrics, you will be wrapped in the luxury of European Linen and Cashmere throws.
Outside, a private, seasonal, fire pit and stargazing pad is adjacent to each tent. By day, there are birds galore including the threatened black cockatoo which occasionally fly by to say hello.
It is truly an off-grid experience with harvested and filtered rain water along with solar power being harnessed for lighting and allows for small personal electronics to be charged via a USB outlet. There is no television, microwave, hairdryer, electric jug, toaster, oven or coffee machine (though a coffee plunger should keep the cravings at bay). There is nowhere to “plug” anything in, you're camping…albeit in pure luxury, so switch off, enjoy the sounds of nature, engage in the lost art of talking to your traveling companion, gaze at the horizon and lose yourself for a little while. The eco toilet is fitted with a vent and is so quiet, there is no flushing to break the tranquillity.
Keeping true to a camping experience, an outdoor camp cooker is located on the rear deck for self-catering, you can boil a jug and grill your toast along with cooking up a hearty breakfast or meal. Let’s not forget the stove top mocha for locally roasted coffee as well as a curated hamper of provisions to get you started.
Once inside your eco tent, you will find a complimentary continental breakfast hamper and some local goodies to snack on. Our welcome gift would not be complete without a bottle of local sparkling wine.
With no Wi-Fi or television available, savour the gift of slow living.

For a truly unforgettable experience, Pemberton and The Southern Forests is on your doorstep where you will find adventures to be had. The region is rich in food and wine, mountain biking, hiking trails, national parks and beautiful rivers to be enjoyed.
We are but a stone’s throw from the Bibbulmun and Munda Biddi Track’s so you may see a weary hikers or mountain bikes who stay and rejuvenate with us.
Wandagar is a working truffle farm and vineyard with numerous farm animals running around, so don’t be surprised to see a tractor, sheep, cow, or a dog or three. Because of this, the farm is strictly a no-pets venue.
Upon arrival, you will be shown to the carpark where there is a short walk to your accommodation, and this is when your hosts will provide a quick run-down on the farm and what you can see and do while in Pemberton.
