Supporting the incredible work of Bush Heritage Australia as they protect and regenerate bushland.

Property information

Five secluded WanderPods look over Lake Wyaralong and 4000 acres of bushland, named after the stunning mountains that surround The Overflow 1895 and form the centre of the ancient caldera called the Scenic Rim. Each WanderPod is completely off-grid and designed with disconnect from a busy lifestyle and reconnect with nature. To help with this, our WanderPods do not offer televisions - but for those wanting to stay connected there is free wifi. As our pods are off-grid, we do not offer hair-dryers, toasters, dishwashers or ovens as these are all high power consumption items, but we do have a gas cooktop and gas BBQ for roasting. Our two bedroom pods offer solar air-conditioning that is powered during the daylight hours.

The Overflow showcases unsurpassed rural beauty in Queensland’s Scenic Rim with a new world winery and a handcrafted homestead built in 1899, set on the calming shores of Lake Wyaralong. Some 1200 acres have been placed under eucalypt forest cultivation with several walks and coves to explore, or just to sit, watch, listen and breathe. Wander is a proud participant in the Scenic Rim Regional Council’s 1 Million Trees initiative by planting over 500 native trees at The Overflow 1895.
