The White House on Wright Street is a newly renovated home, well appointed to accommodate couples, groups or families and designed to sleep up to 8 people comfortably. It's situated on a quiet residential street, conveniently located right near the Riesling Trail and a short stroll to the main street of town. The house is light and bright, with a clean comfortable interior. There are 3 bedrooms, all with ceiling fans, 2 loungerooms, 2 bathrooms, a large well appointed Kitchen, dining room and a seperate laundry. There is air conditioning and a wood fire place to enjoy during winter. There are some books, boardgames and DVD's to keep you occupied during your stay. Kids are certainly welcome and catered for with plenty of toys, a kids table, a cubby and sandpit in the private, fenced in back yard.The house has been lovingly renovated and turned into a holiday house by the Millers, a local little family who love the Clare Valley and wanted to give others a beautiful base to explore the area from.
The Millers themselves love travelling so have worked hard to create the type of place they would love to stay in too!
Wineries A Valley famous for its beautiful wines, provides so many amazing wineries to visit, each one unique and interesting. You will not leave dissappointed! EAT You'll be spoilt for choice when picking places to eat, from farmhouse restaurant's to gourmet pub fare and romantic dining locations, there really is something to suit everyone! Riesling Trail Stretching all the way from Clare to Auburn, the Riesling trail is 33 km long and a terrific way to soak up the country atmosphere. Hire or bring a bike to visit wineries dotted along it. Perfect for a peaceful stroll too. Model Train Rides The Clare Valley Model Engineers run fantastic model train rides at Melrose Park on the 2nd and 4th weekend of each moth. Fun for both big and little kids alike! History & Heritage Surrounded by amazing historical sights to visit and heritage to uncover. You'll love exploring the Valley's past! Relax & Unwind With plenty of wide open spaces & beautiful fresh air, the Clare Valley is the perfect place to relax & unwind and fill your days with as much or as little as you want!
