Windows is a 2 bedroom warehouse conversion in Fremantle's fabulous historic West End, surrounded by heritage-listed buildings and in the heart of the action. Amazing location, a short walk to the Round House, Bather's Beach, the Esplanade, Fremantle Markets and the Fishing Boat Harbour. Many of Fremantle's best cafes, restaurants and bars nearby, with the famous Bread in Common across the road. Fremantle Train Station is around the corner if you want to go to Cottesloe Beach (10 mins) and Perth CBD (20 mins). Warehouse No 56 was built in 1887 and then used as a confectionery factory, a wool store and later by oyster traders. Now it is home to this colourful and comfortable apartment with a fully equipped kitchen (including an excellent coffee machine), open plan living and dining area (kept comfortable all year with reverse cycle air-con) and downstairs laundry and bathroom. Two bedrooms and another bathroom are located on the second floor (one with a queen-size bed and air-con, the other with a double-size bed and large built-in robe). Both beds are extremely comfortable and come with luxurious pillows and sheets for an exquisite slumber. Enjoy an alfresco coffee or wine & cheese in your own private courtyard, waxing lyrical under the stars. Wake up to contemporary Australian art on the walls. Peruse the selection of books and take any you can't finish because you're too busy sightseeing. There is secure parking for 1 car and wifi in all areas.
