Blossom Cottage -Sustainable tourism In close proximity to central Laktasi you will be greeted by a quaint country cottage situated in a productive home orchard. Equipped with all the modern conveniences and powered by solar & a bio-gas system invented by the owners. We invest in renewable energy sources, so you can cook with biogas produced from mowed grass and use water heated by solar collectors. We received the Nikola Tesla Silver Medal in Novi Sad for our biogas innovation. Also feel yourself unwind as you are surrounded by a green oasis of peace and quiet, with gentle breezes rustling through the trees accompanied by bird songs. There are plenty of options close to Blossom Cottage to fill in your days. Visit the Laktasi Thermal Spa or the Banja Slatina Spa where you can soak away in the therapeutic waters. Thermal Spa Laktaši is ideal for the treatment of diseases of the locomotor system, cardiovascular diseases, eye diseases, nervous disorders, for the treatment of geriatric diseases, as well as for recreation and tourist purposes. Go for a forest walk at the world famous Kozara National Park. For the history buffs a visit to the Balneum IV century Roman baths is a must. Visit Banja Luka for the day and admire the Austro-Hungarian architecture and the wide tree lined promenades and parks; whilst enjoying the local cafes & specialty cakes. Enjoy the facinating history & river views from the Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka. Blossom cottage is fully self-contained, private & disability friendly. It consists of a living room/bedroom, a kitchen/dining bedroom, a modern bathroom/laundry and a huge vine covered pergola overlooking the gardens. Mahovljani Airport is 2 km away, which operates with the well-known companies Ryanair, WizzAir and AirSerbia. WELCOME to Blossom Cottage for some much needed tranquility and old fashioned European hospitality.
