On the 13th of January, 1962. The National Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted Law on proclamation of the Sutjeska National Park. National park "Sutjeska" has numerous types of accommodation from hotel units through villas, pavilions, bungalows to mountain huts.

Property information

Within the “Sutjeska” National Park in the close vicinity of the Central Monument of the famous Battle of Sutjeska, and besides the main road Sarajevo – Trebinje there is a newly built Vila Volujak with modern equipped apartments. Vila Volujak has a total of 18 beds divided into 3 apartments with 6 beds each. Both apartments are duplexes. In the first part there is a living room, where a French bed is located, while on the first floor, there are 4 single beds. Apartments have their bathroom. The apartments are 70 m2 and contain a mountain, monument, river view, central heating, free WiFi and parking, TV, mini-bar, wardrobe, hairdryer, toiletries, towels, bedding, bathrobes, and slippers. Near Vila Volujak there is a newly built restaurant of national cuisine "Komlen" which offers a wide selection of local traditional cuisine and international specialties. Meals within the accommodation are served at this restaurant. Sarajevo is 93 km away, Dubrovnik 142 km, Banja Luka 370 km, Belgrade 380 km.

Sutjeska National Park rightfully bears the epithet as a “jewel of Republic of Srpska”. It is the biggest and oldest national park in Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, covers the area of 16,052.34 hectares, of which more then 66% is covered with forest, meadows and pastures. Considering its beauty and the fact that it is intact nature, this national park was categorized as II category according to IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) in year 2000.
