Our 2 flats are situated in our house in a residential area close to the centre of Liège and the famous train station Guillemins (Calatrava) - 5 min by car. You can enjoy a green environment in 2 recent and fully renovated flats. Both flats are furnished in vintage and modern style and consist of a fully equipped open kitchen with a dining corner, living room with sofa bed (sleeping 2), bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with walk-in shower. Both flats have their own private terrace and can enjoy the garden which is split in half. Flat 'côté jardin' (the larger one) has direct access to its terrace and garden. The guests 'côté cour' have to go down one floor. The flat 'côté cour' has low ceilings in the kitchen and living room which gives a cosy atmosphere but may be less suitable for tall people, which are advised to book the flat 'côté jardin' (look for the icon of a terrace when making your booking). Please be aware that you have to take stairs to access both flats. There is easy and free parking in the street in front of the house. We are close to the highways to Luxembourg, Germany (Aachen), the Netherlands (Maastricht), Brussels and Namur.
We like beautyful things and like to share this with our guests. We have therefore put all our hart in the renovation and decoration of 2 flats. You'll recognise the touch of Jean-Marc, who is architect in Liège. Ann does all the administration and is the person with whom you will be most in contact. She works in Brussels at a government agency but is easily available thanks to the convenient Booking app on her smartphone ;-). We respect the privacy of our guests but are available if you wish information or assistance.
We live on one of the hills in Liège in a residential street with most houses build in vintage style from the 50ties. There is a small park very nearby and a larger one at 5 min by car. There is also a playground very nearby. The city centre can be easily reached by car and by bus, by foot it takes 30 minutes. There is a bus stop 10 meters from the house, with busses to the airport and to the city centre (bus n° 21). There is plenty of parking in the street for those coming by car. There is a bakery (called Point Chaud) at 5 min by foot from our place, also 5 min. by foot is a very nice place to have breakfast or brunch (Quebec Café), but reservation is recommended. Within 10 to 15 min by foot you can reach a commercial street with supermarkets, hallal bouchers, grocery shops with fruits and vegetables, ... It only takes 5 min by car to find our favorite places: the pub Le Kleyer (where you can watch sports, have a drink or something to eat), the restaurant Concordia (where you can have the best french fries - also take away - and Belgian dishes) and the restaurant Feng Ling (one of the best Chinese in town - also take away).
