Company info
In the province of Namur, on a promontory overlooking the Orneau valley, a first fortress was built in the 12th century. It was once protected by a double wall and was of strategic importance as it allowed control of the route from Mons to Namur.
Transformed into a residence in the 16th century, this residence was then extended in the 17th and 18th centuries. It was sacked during the French Revolution and then abandoned until the end of the 19th century. It was then restored and the neo-Gothic chapel was built.
During the Second World War, the castle of Mielmont was a place of resistance known under the name of "Refuge Jaguar".
In recent years, we have been developing an eco-responsible approach for the restoration and management of this property. Today, this house and its 100-hectare park welcome you to organize timeless events or to stay in an authentic and enchanting setting.
