This vacation house, with the comfort of today, is completely renovated in a traditional Ardennes farm of the 19th century. This is the birthplace of your hostess, Martine, her father Gilles, her grandmother Marie and many other members of her family since 1835. It is located at a place called Banet Sart in Daverdisse, in the heart of a Natura 2000 area, in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium. The vacation house is on 280 square meters on two levels, a ground floor and a floor with mezzanine. It can accommodate up to eight people. Possibility to add, comfortably, two extra beds for small children. And, if you wish, you can pitch a tent in the garden for the duration of your stay!
Your hosts, Martine and Pierre, are craftspersons: raising sheep, spinning and weaving wool, building harpsichords and clavichords. They will be happy to show you their work and, who knows ?, may awaken in you a new calling.
Banet Sart is located on the pedestrian and mountain bike route of La Transardennaise®. The Sentiers de Grande Randonnee® GR14 (Paris - Malmedy) and GR129 (Dinant - Arlon) pass close to Banet Sart. In addition, there are numerous local pedestrian and mountain bike circuits.
