Welcome to The Doctor's Bed, an enchanting **** Bed & Breakfast located in the idyllic Meerhout, where nature is at its finest. Situated in a stately doctor's house on the edge of the village center, within a lush garden, and featuring a bio pool (4×10 + Heated in season), our B&B offers an oasis of tranquility for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. The majestic entrance hall also serves as a communal area where you can relax in peace and quiet and warm yourself in the winter months by our tiled stove 'Heideland'. Our petanque court also provides a source of relaxation. Our stately home was once inhabited by the Doctor, his wife, and their nine children. The beautiful stories about this history can be discovered during your stay. At The Doctor's Bed, everything revolves around hospitality and comfort. Our luxurious rooms are carefully decorated to create coziness and relaxation. We accept payment cards and credit cards.
Our B&B is located near the Grote Netewoud Nature Park, a beautiful piece of nature in the Antwerp Kempen where the Grote Nete River meanders through a diverse landscape. This expansive nature park is a true oasis of tranquility and biodiversity, where dense forests alternate with heathlands, marshes, and meadows. It is an ideal place for nature lovers to hike, bike, and discover the rich flora and fauna. Bird watchers will be delighted by the many bird species found here. Additionally, the Natuurpunt visitor center in Meerhout is also nearby.
