VELPE55 is a holiday house in the Hageland region. And it’s a house just the way we like it: lovely architecture, pleasantly appointed with every comfort, a quiet location with nice views and all sorts of things to do close at hand. Situated in South Hageland in Opvelp - Bierbeek, which is where we live, too, VELPE55 offers you all of the reasons why this is such a great place to have a home: the charm of the countryside, close to attractive cities such as Leuven, Brussels, Liège, Namur and others – and right in the centre of some beautiful areas. Plus, of course, the Hageland, the Groene Gordel (Green Belt), Haspengouw/Hesbaye and Walloon Brabant are all nearby. In a word, it makes the ideal base for spending an exciting week exploring or a weekend away with family and friends.
Here is a small glimpse of what is on offer. We will be happy to provide you with more detailed information. Walking & Cycling: The house is situated on the Hollewegen walking track. In the immediate vicinity you will also find other walking tracks and cycling routes, while the beautiful Meerdaelwoud forest is the green jewel in the crown. Bustling towns nearby: Leuven, Brussels, Mechelen, Namur, Liège … .
